33: Orlando Magic- Ayo Dosunmu, G, Illinois

Chicago’s very own Ayo Dosunmu is shipped off to Orlando to fill a massive need for a point guard and will battle it out with former number one overall pick Markelle Fultz.

As a top high school recruit, his ceiling is very high. In his quiet freshman season at Illinois, he averaged 13.8 points, 4 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.3 steals on 43.6 percent from the floor and 35 percent from three. Attempting 4.4 threes per game, his 35 percent average from range doesn’t look too bad. In addition, his great size at 6-foot-5 allows him to play either guard position. The city of Chicago will be rooting for Ayo down in Florida.

34: Philadelphia 76ers- Jalen McDaniels, F, San Diego State

To add bench scoring behind Tobias Harris, the 76ers go with McDaniels from San Diego State. Playing at a small school, McDaniels has not gotten much attention. But the big-bodied power forward has had a nice sophomore season, averaging nearly 16 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.1 steals on 46 percent shooting.

He does not have a great deep stroke, which may be a concern for a 76ers team in need of shooters. But that bench is so depleted from trades that McDaniels cannot be overlooked in spite of his lack of range.
