25: Cleveland Cavaliers- Tyler Herro, G, Kentucky

Tyler Herro was a fairly highly rated recruit in the high school class of 2018, and has done a solid job at Kentucky for coach Calipari. In his freshman season, he averaged 14.2 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.1 steals on just shy of 47 percent from the field and 37 percent from three.

His free throw numbers were absolutely insane, shooting at a 94 percent mark. Herro isn’t the best athlete in the world, but he can shoot the basketball at a very high level, something all teams need.

Cleveland can hope that he can be a Kevin Huerter-type player for them, but he has the potential to be better than that. He would not be a starting player nor a franchise piece for the Cavs, but they go with a modern NBA player here rather than swinging for a home run in their rebuild.

26: Philadelphia 76ers- Tre Jones, G, Duke

The 76ers go with Jones for two reasons: one, they lost Markelle Fultz and are in the market for a backup point guard. The second reason is for Jones’ potential.

As one of the top players in his high school class. Jones has been overshadowed by the likes of Zion Williamson, Cam Reddish, and R.J. Barrett. He has put up averages of 9.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 5.3 assists at Duke, while also adding an impressive 2 steals per game.

He is somewhat undersized, standing at 6-foot-2, and his shooting this season has been poor both from the floor and from range. However, as a passer, he shows great promise. Jones would work as a nice long-term solution at the point guard spot and has nice upside.
