10. Ty Jerome

  • School: University of Virginia
  • Height: 6’5″
  • Weight: 194 lbs.
  • Age: 21

Ty Jerome isn’t the most exciting NBA prospect, but he’s still worth watching. The 6’5″ junior definitely isn’t the best offensive weapon on Virginia’s roster (that title is reserved for Kyle Guy), but he’s the guy the offense runs through – he’s the catalyst.

Despite being the first No. 1 seed ever to lose to a No. 16 seed in last year’s tournament, Virginia is arguably the nation’s best team this year and is poised to make a championship run.

Jerome has some similarities to current Bulls point guard Kris Dunn, but make no mistake, he’s a very different player.

Shooting ability is the biggest difference between Dunn and Jerome. Unlike Dunn, Jerome can shoot the lights out from 3-point range. On the season, he’s shooting an impressive 39.7 percent from deep on 5.0 attempts per game.

Jerome lacks some NBA essentials like athleticism and upside, but his playmaking abilities, savvy defense and deep-shooting make him an intriguing NBA prospect.
