After being ousted in the Big Apple with the New York Knicks by point guard Emmanuel Mudiay, Frank Ntilikina could soon be on the move.

A controversial move that the Chicago Bulls could pull off on the trade market this off-season could involve the New York Knicks and a recent top 10 overall NBA Draft selection, point guard Frank Ntilikina. The Knicks haven’t had much luck by drafting guards in the first round of the NBA Draft lately, and Frank Ntilikina was no exception.

What Frank Ntilikina could bring to the table for the Bulls is a very talented point guard that still has a high ceiling. But, his numbers are clearly a worrying sign for any team that will try to pursue him. Any player that never really eclipsed a player efficiency rating above seven has some baggage.

The two schools of thought will likely put it that acquiring Frank Ntilikina falls into very different spaces. One school of thought would likely say that a team like the Golden State Warriors are in a good position to take a flier on Frank Ntilikina since he could be successful in a place with less pressure to succeed as the franchise point guard right away.

Another school of though would put it that a team that is in the cellar of the standings like the Knicks could take Ntilikina since he might just need a change of scenery with another rebuilding team. This really is the type of player that fits the bill of a high-risk, high-reward type trade target.

Here’s a look at the three reasons why the Chicago Bulls could be the next landing spot for New York Knicks second-year point guard Frank Ntilikina.
