2. Appeal to other NBA stars

Zion Williamson already gave his comments on the prospect of getting to play with current NBA stars somewhere next year. He stated “it would be dope” to play with current NBA stars like Kyrie Irving of the Boston Celtics and Kevin Durant of the Golden State Warriors.

Getting to play with superstars like Durant and Irving would likely mean them coming to a destination like the Bulls or the New York Knicks. A big market traditional power team in the NBA is the ideal landing spot for a coming of superstars that could form the next “super team” in the Eastern Conference.

Some of the other top stars in the NBA that could consider the idea of making their way to the Windy, outside of Kyrie and KD, include New Orleans Pelicans big man Anthony Davis and Charlotte Hornets point guard Kemba Walker. This is a very fertile crop of free agents set for teams like the Bulls to pursue this summer.

The stars could really align nicely in the Windy City for the Bulls to form a contender in the East quickly if it ends up winning the upcoming draft lottery. Zion coming to the Bulls would bring a whole new level of appeal to playing for this franchise right away. There’s nothing like the immediate impact he would bring to this franchise.
