The Chicago Bulls had a rough outing on Feb. 11 as the team continues to drown in the Eastern Conference standings along with the Cleveland Cavaliers and New York Knicks. This time it was the stout Milwaukee Bucks that downed the Chicago Bulls at the United Center in an effort under head coach Jim Boylen that definitely left something to be desired.
This was a difficult matchup set for the Chicago Bulls, with one of the top teams in the East traveling to the Windy City to face them at the United Center. Milwaukee entered this mid-February meeting with the Bulls as an 11-5 point favorite. That was pretty steep considering the Bulls played well of late, especially since acquiring small forward Otto Porter Jr. from the Washington Wizards.
However, the same issues that plagued the Chicago Bulls in the last game which resulted in a loss to the Wizards also got them in this matchup with the Bucks. A weird rotation and the lack of depth caused the Bulls to lose the second half by a margin of 12-points.
The way the Bulls played in the second half in the last two games is not the way to put together any winning efforts. And, the Bucks superstar rising forward Giannis Antetokounmpo got the best of the Bulls defense in the second half after Boylen’s squad actually held him in check in the first.
Here’s a look at the game grades for the Chicago Bulls in the loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Feb. 11 by the final score of 112-99.
