5. Malik Beasley
The only reason Malik Beasley isn’t number one on this list is that he’s almost too good. The Denver Nuggets guard has been an animal this season and it’s highly unlikely that Denver would be willing to part with the young wing.
On the season, Beasley is averaging 11.5 points per game on an incredibly efficient 50.4 percent shooting from the field and 43.3 percent shooting from 3-point range. He’s less than 3 percent from the free-throw line away from being a 50/40/90 guy. That’s absurd for a dude that was playing less than 10 minutes per game last season.
Beasley’s growth has been incredibly fun to watch and he’s exactly the type of player the Bulls need. Now is probably the worst time to trade for Beasley, though, as he’s playing the best basketball of his career.

On February 1 against the Houston Rockets, Beasley put up a career-high 35 points on an incredible 12-of-17 shooting from the field and 5-of-9 shooting from deep. He was also an absurd +19 in his game-high 41 minutes.
Malik will likely be a key piece for the Nuggets as they attempt to make a run at the Finals. Sadly, Beasley is more than likely off the table. But hey, a guy can dream, can’t he?
