The Chicago Bulls lost their third straight game this afternoon in a close contest. How did the Bulls’ individual players perform?

The Chicago Bulls came into this afternoon’s game having lost 12 of their last 13 games with their only win coming against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Not only did the Bulls win their last game against Cleveland, but they’ve owned the Cavs all season long, winning all three of their previous matchups.

Today, though, the Cavs came out on a mission. They looked like a team that didn’t want to be swept in the season series by the Chicago Bulls. That’s understandable – no professional basketball player wants to be 0-4 against a team as bad as the Bulls.

The game was close from start to finish, but a late miss from Bulls guard Zach LaVine would seal the victory for the Cavs.

Let’s give out some player grades from this afternoon’s home loss.

Guard. Chicago Bulls. ZACH LAVINE. C+. Zach LaVine finished the game with 17 points on an inefficient 6-of-17 shooting from the field and 0-of-4 shooting from 3-point range to go along with 12 rebounds, two assists and four turnovers. He had some nice drives to the basket but often settled for low-percentage jumpers.

Guard/Forward. Chicago Bulls. WAYNE SELDEN. B+. <a href=

Chicago Bulls. JABARI PARKER. C. <a href=. Forward

A. Sophomore forward <a href=. Forward. Chicago Bulls. LAURI MARKKANEN

It’s tough to be excited about anything that happened on the court when the Bulls lost a home game to the worst team in the NBA, but if you’re trying to be optimistic, Lauri Markkanen had a really nice game.

dark. Next. The perpetual sadness that is the Chicago Bulls

As a team, though, this wasn’t a great day for the Bulls. The Cavs are a team that the Bulls should beat every time they square off.
