1. Zach LaVine gets revenge on the Wolves

Giving up a young talent like Zach LaVine couldn’t have been easy for the Wolves. LaVine was coming off his best season as a pro, and he was thought of as one of the Wolves’ primary building blocks for the future. Unfortunately for LaVine, the Wolves couldn’t pass up an opportunity to get a player like Jimmy Butler.

It doesn’t seem like LaVine has any hard feelings over the Timberwolves’ decision to trade him, but anytime you get to square up against the team that traded you (and the player that they traded you for), you definitely want to have a good game.

Zach LaVine did exactly that.

LaVine scored a team-high 35 points on 12-of-26 shooting from the field to go along with 5 rebounds and 2 steals. He also had some big dunks, he hit a clutch 3-pointer and he knocked down the go-ahead free throws with 18.4 seconds left.

Even though the game wouldn’t end up meaning a lot to the Bulls in terms of where they stood in the playoff race, it was LaVine’s best, and most important, game of the 2017-18 season. This game also helped Bulls fans feel like they might have won the trade. That’s why it was the Bulls’ best moment of 2018.
