3. Portland Trail Blazers
This deal is a match made in heaven for the Trail Blazers. Based on last years playoff performance, a glaring need for the team was another scorer other than Damian Lillard and CJ Mccollum. Getting both Jabari and Justin Holiday would help ease the load from their two star guards.
Another team affected by the salary spike of 2016, by getting rid of Mo Harkless and Meyers Leonard, would save 20 million off their books, giving them a positive amount of cap space next year.
This not only a move for the future, but a move for right now. Jabari, off the bench, would give the Blazers a prolific scorer that can create his own shot. Along with Jabari, the Blazers would get Justin Holiday, whose shooting and defense is an improvement over Harkless.
The Bulls would receive a young forward and center that can give you some production. Moe Harkless would be a great compliment in the starting line-up, providing quality defense and above average defense.
If Leonard gets minutes, they get a big body that can stretch the floor, but in general, this trade is a salary dump and getting draft picks.
