Since Jim Boylen has taken over the Chicago Bulls, Jabari Parker has lost his spot in the rotation. Even with this demotion, Jabari is still a young and electric scorer that can boost a playoff contender or a team deep in the luxury tax.

The Chicago Bulls have hit rock bottom. Even though they are 2nd to last in the eastern conference at 9-25, their record is not the problem.

From Gar Forman and John Paxson’s inability to match a coach to their playing style and vice versa, Jim Boylen losing the locker room a month into his Bulls tenure, to the Bulls roster not having a clear identity, the Bulls are a mess.

Then there’s the whole problem with Jabari Parker. His stats, although they seem decent, averaging 15 points and 7 rebounds, fails the eye test. His defense is atrocious and he just seems lazy on the court, which is why the Bulls benched him and are making him available via trade.

The Bulls should ideally continue to tank as well as try to stockpile draft picks by trading for other teams bad contracts. This allows the Bulls to continue to accumulate young talent, like they should and build their draft assets for the years to come.
