An overview

The current point guard rotation as it stands seems to be a tale of finding balance. The aforementioned Payne can score and make plays but lacks fairly significantly on the defensive end while Harrison is an aggressive and impactful defender that hasn’t proven to be a consistent scorer offensively.

Arcidiacono seems to blend the two of those things pretty well and has found success with whatever lineup he plays in.

At least for right now, it seems Ryan will take precedent as the reserve point guard later on in the year while Payne and Harrison may fade away completely or become situational players.

It’s also important to note that the Bulls do still have Tyler Ulis on a two-way contract.

While he’s proven to be a fairly solid starter on the Phoenix Suns, inserting him into the rotation may not make too much sense considering that he’s a liability defensively.

Next. 3 things Bulls fans should be thankful for. dark

While he’s an exceptional scorer and playmaker for his height, Dunn provides both of those things in addition to defense while Arcidiacono beats him in every category except scoring.

It’ll be interesting to see how the rotation changes long-term, but this is likely what’s to come for the remainder of the season.
