The Chicago Bulls got destroyed by the Philadelphia 76ers, but still flashed some things to get excited about.

The Chicago Bulls looked lost last night as they fell to the Philadelphia 76ers in Chicago’s home opener for the season. With Kris Dunn, Lauri Markkanen, and Denzel Valentine all out, Chicago was without three of its biggest weapons. The Bulls surrendered 127 points to Philadelphia in the loss and struggled to provide any resistance on defense.

Despite the blowout, the Bulls still left fans with some positive things to take away from last night. Zach LaVine looked like a new player, and flashed a lot of things that should excite the front office going forward. Self-proclaimed Sixth Man of the Year candidate Bobby Portis began his campaign with an exclamation mark as a starter. And newly-signed Ryan Arcidiacono, who spent the majority of last season in the G-League for the Windy City Bulls, looked like a legitimate piece at times during the game.
