The Chicago Bulls came up short in their final preseason game against the Denver Nuggets. Here are 3 takeaways from the loss.
The Chicago Bulls have had a preseason full of ups and downs.
Some players have had stellar individual performances during the preseason that have the fans and coaching staff excited, and some players have looked a little rusty, to say the least.
Zach LaVine has looked absolutely incredible so far, scoring the ball from all three levels of the floor with ease. He’s been aggressive, confident and efficient – the 3 things the Bulls need him to be.
Jabari Parker, on the other hand, has looked a little off for the majority of the preseason, but on Friday night against Denver, he got back on track.
The Bulls ended up losing 98-93, but they actually looked really good in the second half. After giving up an uninspiring 57 points in the first half, the Bulls only allowed the Nuggets to score 41 points in the second half. It’s about time the Bulls defense looked like it was playing at a professional level.
