1. Zach LaVine looks like the go-to guy

Alright, enough talking about the negatives surrounding this Bulls roster. Zach LaVine has looked flat-out incredible so far.

Against the Hornets, LaVine finished with 26 points and 4 rebounds on 9-of-15 shooting from the field and 4-of-6 shooting from 3-point land. Words can’t express how happy it makes me that the Bulls might have made the correct choice when they gambled on LaVine during the summer.

Actually, scratch that. I can confidently say that the Bulls made the correct choice when they signed LaVine to a big contract during the summer.

We all knew LaVine had talent, but the biggest question was whether he could fully return to form after the brutal knee injury he suffered while in Minnesota. Regardless of how he plays during the final two preseason games or at the beginning of the regular season, at least we know he’s back and fully healthy. The rest will take care of itself.

LaVine has looked elite from all 3 levels of the floor. He’s been solid when attacking the basket, really good at pulling up from mid-range and dangerous from beyond the arc.

If LaVine continues playing at this level, he’ll put up some serious numbers. The league will have no choice but to take notice.

In an interesting time for Bulls fans, they can at least be happy about what LaVine is ready to do. He looks magnificent.
