The Chicago Bulls hosted media day, and several players talked to reporters. Kris Dunn was one of those players.

The Chicago Bulls season is finally underway.

At the Bulls practice facility, the players and the front office talked to reporters about this upcoming season.

Gar Forman, John Paxson, Fred Hoiberg, Lauri Markkanen, Zach LaVine, Jabari Parker, Kris Dunn, and Wendell Carter Jr all talked to the media.

Out of all the people that talked, Kris Dunn was the one that really caught my attention. Kris talked for about seven minutes and I thought from all the people that talked at media day, Dunn was the most confident. When he talks, you can hear that he’s ready to dominate this league.

Kris Dunn is entering his second season with the Chicago Bulls, and he feels more comfortable with this team.

When talking to reporters, Dunn said that one thing he’s going to work on this season is communicating more on the court with his teammates.

"“I felt like last year I took a step back on that role because it was my first year with the Bulls. But now I’m comfortable with the team. You’re going to see more of a vocal leader. It’s like football. I’m the quarterback. I gotta make sure guys are in the right places on the floor.”"

Dunn is exactly right about being the quarterback on this team. He’s the point guard, and it’s his job to get everyone in the right place on the court. In order for the Bulls to have any success this season, Dunn is going to have to play better all around.

Last season Kris shot 42.9% from the field, but he wasn’t satisfied. He said that he worked on his shooting all summer.

There were plenty of times last year where the opponents left Dunn open and dared him to shoot the ball. Dunn sometimes was scared to shoot it, and made the decision to just pass the ball. “I ain’t going to be scared to shoot, simple as that.”

A big reason why I quickly became such a fan of Kris Dunn is because he has that pitbull mentality. This guy doesn’t care who he’s going against, he will do anything it takes to win games. He plays hard every time he’s on the court.

Dunn said that “one of our goals is to make it to the playoffs.” It’s time for Kris Dunn to show the NBA world that he’s the real deal.

3 reasons why the Bulls will make the playoffs. dark. Next

One thing for sure, the Bulls coaching staff have a player on their roster that will put his body on the line every single game.

Kris Dunn put in a lot of work this summer. Now it’s time to just put it on the court. He has the potential of being one of the best point guards in the league.

My message to players around the league is that Kris Dunn is coming.
