3. Zach LaVine

It’s tough to figure out exactly where Zach LaVine ranks among the current Bulls.

After only playing 24 games during the 2017-18 season, no one really knows where he’s at right now with his game. By the end of the season, he could easily be the best player on this roster.

But for right now, I’m putting him at No. 3. His shooting percentages are too low, his defense is too bad and his game is too one-dimensional for him to be above the next two guys on this list. That’s not to say that I don’t think LaVine is good or that I don’t like his game, though.

I have high hopes that LaVine will take a huge step forward on defense this year and that his shooting percentages will increase as a by-product of being healthy all offseason.

If those two things happen, then all of a sudden his game isn’t as one dimensional anymore.

This is a huge season for LaVine. He has the pressure of living up to a 4-year, $78 million contract and proving that he can be a star (or at least a quality player) in this league for the next several years to come.
