1. Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk

Something you may have noticed by now is that all three players I chose from the second round were 4-year college guys. Maybe that has something to do with the lack of experience on the Bulls roster. Okay fine, it definitely has something to do with the lack of experience on the Bulls roster.

Not only did Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk play 4 years at Kansas but he absolutely balled out in his fourth year. During his senior year, Mykhailiuk shot 44.4 percent from 3-point range on 6.6 attempts per game. That’s outstanding.

“Svi” was drafted 47th overall by the Los Angeles Lakers. I’m guessing that by the end of his professional career there will be some teams kicking themselves over not taking the 6’8″ sharpshooter (who can do more than just shoot, by the way). Heck, there’s probably teams already kicking themselves after seeing his impressive Summer League.

In 7 Las Vegas Summer League games, Svi averaged a cool 16.6 points per game on an efficient 48 percent shooting from the field.

The Bulls could really use Mykhailiuk. I’m confident he could step in and be more effective than most, if not all, of the wings on the Bulls bench. His underrated playmaking ability paired with his incredible shooting stroke should allow him to excel in the NBA over the next several years. The Bulls may have missed out by not trading into the second round for this guy.
