The Chicago Bulls invested a lot of money to Zach LaVine. It’s time for LaVine to show the NBA world that he’s worth every penny.

The negotiations between Zach LaVine and the Chicago Bulls didn’t go as LaVine wanted them to go, and that’s why he signed with the Sacramento Kings for a four year deal worth $78 million. An hour and half later, the Chicago Bulls matched that offer. Was Zach LaVine not happy that he had to sign with the Kings?

Absolutely because he didn’t even want to get to the point of having to sign with another team in order for the Bulls to match it. In the end of the day Zach LaVine is back with the Chicago Bulls, but that doesn’t mean that the hurt feels will be gone anytime soon. Zach LaVine has to move on. He got his money, and now it’s time for him to be the guy that the NBA world thinks he can’t become.

If you follow Zach LaVine on Instagram, you would know that he has been working his butt off this summer. LaVine is a worker, and he’s very motivated to prove people wrong.

Zach is only 23 years old

Because of his new deal, a lot of people now expect LaVine to score at least 25 points a night, but not me.

The Chicago Bulls invested a lot of money to LaVine, and he has to reward them. From now on Zach has to be the leader for the organization. That means set up workouts with teammates before the season starts. That means showing up to practices two hours before it begins to get shots up.

Zach LaVine needs to come into work everyday and not only go 100% all the time, but also put in that extra work so the young guys can see that he’s serious about putting Chicago back on the map. If the young guys see Zach LaVine putting in the extra work, then they will follow his lead.

Another thing that I want to see Zach LaVine become is a true leader. For example if the Bulls lose six straight games, then I want to hear that Zach went into the locker room to motivate the guys that there is more then enough talent to end the losing streak and start their own winning streak. Zach can’t be shy anymore.

The Bulls expect him to not only produce every night, but also to show the young guys that if you put in the work, then you get rewarded. Zach LaVine has to show Bulls fans that he will do everything he can to add another championship to the City of Chicago.
