The Final Four

(1) Derrick Rose vs (2) Luol Deng. The memories both of these players gave Chicago are endless, and they won’t soon be forgotten. This is a hard one, as Deng has a longer tenure, but Rose’s resume speaks for itself. Rose slightly edges Deng, in large part because this shot is awesome no matter how many times you watch it:

(1) Jimmy Butler vs (1) Joakim Noah. As hard as the previous match up was, this one might be the toughest of all. In all honesty, there’s a case to be made for either player. These are two of my favorite Bulls of all-time so you really can’t go wrong. If this was written on a different day, Noah would advance, but based on overall impact and pure talent, Jimmy wins on a buzzer beater.

The Best Player is….?

Derrick Rose vs Jimmy Butler. This is the debate Bulls fans can have for days. There really is no right or wrong answer here. Derrick is and will always be Chicago’s son. He brought the Bulls back after the Jordan era.

But Jimmy Butler’s rise has been incredible. We saw him develop from a one-dimensional rookie to a bona fide All-Star right before our eyes. In my opinion, Jimmy Butler is the best Bulls player of the past decade.

Once again, my mentions are open.
