Chicago Bulls announce 2017-18 regular season tickets go on sale on Sept. 22

This coming Friday, Chicago Bulls home game tickets for the 2017-18 season will be available for purchase, along with some other notable theme nights and giveaways throughout this season.

The Chicago Bulls officially announced on Thursday that tickets for the 2017-18 NBA regular season will be available for purchase on Friday, Sept. 22.

In the official news release, the Bulls also announced that along with some theme nights being featured at home games throughout the season, there will be some new ticket offerings available this season.

Here’s a look at three new offerings for Bulls tickets, including four “Family Days” that provide a ticket/food package for families throughout this upcoming season.

Along with the “Family Days” on Nov. 26 and Jan. 15 vs. the Miami Heat, Jan. 28 vs. the Milwaukee Bucks and on April Fool’s Day against the Washington Wizards, the Bulls will be offering deals to college students around the Chicagoland area and discounted tickets for members of the United States military for Monday home games.

There’s also going to be some excitement on Friday before the tickets officially go on sale to the general public.

Here’s some details from the release about the celebration going around the city on Friday:

"To tip off the team’s annual ticket on-sale, tomorrow [Friday] morning Bulls entertainers will be around the city surprising fans with performances and giveaways. Fans lucky enough to find Benny the Bull could receive prizes including free CTA rides, tickets to upcoming games, Bulls t-shirts, and more."

As usual with each season, there’s specific theme nights and giveaways for certain home games throughout the year, especially when one of the more relevant teams is in town to face the Bulls.

Here’s some of the themes and giveaways for season:

  • Home opener on Oct. 21 vs. the Spurs: Glowing thunder sticks that you usually see being used by fans to distract opposing free-throw shooters
  • Oct. 26 vs. the Hawks: “College Night”
  • Nov. 10 vs. the Pacers: “Veterans Day” game
  • Dec. 1 vs. the Kings: “Luvabulls Night”
  • Dec. 9 vs. the Knicks: “Game of Thrones Night”
  • Dec. 13 vs. the Jazz: “Star Wars Night
  • Feb. 10 vs. the Wizards: “Black History Month”
  • Mar. 2 vs. the Mavericks: “Chicago’s Birthday Celebration”
  • Mar. 7 vs. the Grizzlies: “White Sox Night”
  • Mar. 13 vs. the Clippers: “Los Bulls Night” (Hispanic Heritage Month in March)
  • Mar. 17 vs. the Cavaliers: “St. Patrick’s Day”
  • Apr. 7 vs. the Nets: “90’s Night”
  • Apr. 11 vs. the Pistons: “Fan Appreciation Night”
