The Chicago Bulls are heading in a completely different direction with the trade that sent Jimmy Butler back to Tom Thibodeau and his youthful Minnesota Timberwolves bunch during the 2017 NBA Draft. Let’s take a look at their pending free agents and see who should stay and who should go (and who’s already gone).

With the franchise-altering trade of Jimmy Butler, the Chicago Bulls have lots of work to do.

Facing what looks like a lengthy rebuild, Bulls general manager Gar Forman and John Paxson have a lot of questions to answer in the coming months (and potentially years) ahead.

First and foremost, what should the Bulls do with their incumbent free agents? The Bulls have a handful of free agents to address (and some of them have already been dealt with) before the free agency period starts at 12:01 AM ET on July 1.

Before the draft chaos took place, the general consensus was that Bulls management was looking to run things back with generally the same core for the 2017-18 season. Oh, how things have changed!

If the Bulls decide to embrace the rebuild and that’s exactly what they’ve done, does it make sense to bring back veterans and roll players like Rajon Rondo and Nikola Mirotic?

What do they do with the mass amount of point guards on the roster? Let’s take a more in-depth look at all of the Bulls’ free agents.
