“Who Did That to You?” by John Legend

"Now, I’m not afraid to do the Lord’s work, You say vengeance is His, but I’m a do it first, I’m gonna handle my business in the name of the law, aah, ohh,"

Jimmy Butler is about to begin what I’d expect to be the revenge tour of 2017-2018. Considering Butler’s clear value as a top 15 player, the Bulls were surprisingly loose with their best player for a full year.

Check out this Marc Stein tweet from June 23rd, 2016:

That’s a full YEAR of being rumored on the trade market. Minnesota won’t be trading Butler any time in the foreseeable future and their core looks insane.

Armed with Karl-Anthony Towns, Andrew Wiggins and now Jimmy Butler, the Timberwolves are about to start handing out losses around the league.

Jimmy Butler, who spent the early portions of this offseason campaigning to stay in Chicago, will almost certainly be willing to make his former club suffer. While the schedule isn’t available yet, mark the Timberwolves with a victory when they make their annual visit to the windy city.
