We were asked a fun question on Twitter recently and it goes us thinking about what we would do if we were the general manager of the Chicago Bulls. So, we tried to figure it out what we would do.

The offseason in the NBA is never boring, especially for the Chicago Bulls in recent times. With the signings of Rajon Rondo and Dwyane Wade last summer and the endless amount of Jimmy Butler trade rumors, there’s never not anything to discuss when it comes to the Bulls organization.

On our end, we try to maintain being active on social media. So, when an interesting question was asked recently on Twitter, it got us thinking, “Hey, I might actually be able to do something with this.”

So, I ran with it. Here we go.

The question was this:

It’s a broad question of course because there’s so many paths the Bulls could take, so I decided to fantasize and promote myself to the general manager position of the Chicago Bulls. Go take a hike, Gar. Or goes back to Iowa State. Your choice. Just beat it for a while. I’m the captain now.

In this exercise, we’ll take a look at what the Bulls could do in the draft, including addressing those Jimmy Butler rumors that will continue in real life all the way through the draft and beyond. Also, we’ll glance at what the Bulls could do after the draft in free agency because there’s stuff to talk about there.

Let’s address the draft first and we’ll go on a ride from there. Sound good? Cool. Let’s do it.
