2.0 update: Jarrett Allen probably doesn’t fall past the Bucks. With his absurd measureables and ability to be a strong rim protector and floor-runner at the next level, this pick would make sense for Milwaukee and their already lengthy roster.
1.0 update: This feels like such a Bucks pick, doesn’t it? Texas’ Jarrett Allen is one of the longest and freakiest players in the entire draft, which means he’d be perfect player with “The Greek Freak” Giannis Antetokounmpo. But seriously, the Bucks need a man in the middle that’s not Greg Monroe. Antetokounmpo has taken over the team’s point guard duties, they’ll be getting Khris Middleton back for a full year, Thon Maker will see an increased role and Jabari Parker will be back at some point after another knee injury. Up front, the Bucks don’t have much other than Maker. Putting Allen on their depth chart makes the Bucks even longer and that much more scarier to score on in the years ahead.

2.0 update: Paul George’s future in Indiana is still murky as an Indiana river. Getting an explosive player like Ferguson, who can also get hot from the perimeter with his 3-point shooting, can contribute in filling a potential void that George will (probably) leave.
1.0 update: Let’s just get this out of the way now: there’s a really good chance that Paul George is leaving Indianapolis during the summer of 2018. He knows it. The Indiana Pacers know it. And, the team he reportedly wants to play for most — the Lakers — know it, too. So, the Pacers have to address their life without George. They’ll need scoring and lots of it because George remains one of the league’s better offensive players. Although he’s a bit of risk after playing just one year in Australia instead of with Lauri Markkanen at Arizona, Terrance Ferguson could help the Pacers rebuild in the post-PG era. He’s got good size as a two-guard, explosive leaping ability and a streakiness with his jumper. When he’s hot, look out. Scouts didn’t see all they want to with him defensively in the NBL, but his potential on that end is high. This could be a good fit and pick for Indiana.
