Before Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant and the Golden State Warriors step onto the Quicken Loans Arena floor to try and end the 2016-17 NBA season on Friday night, here’s a look at the best Chicago Bulls-related content with this week’s Bulls Blurbs.

The Chicago Bulls aren’t as close as the Golden State Warriors are to winning an NBA title, but they did beat the Cleveland Cavaliers four times in four tries, so that’s a title in some form or fashion. (No, it’s not.)

With a chance to sweep the reigning champions and become the first team to ever complete a playoff run at 16-0 in NBA history, the Warriors are making their case as one of the greatest teams in the history of basketball. (This is where the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls come back into play, but you probably already knew that when I mentioned the history, right?)

Despite not playing since the end of April, the Bulls have still made a headline here and there throughout the summer already and with 13 days left until the 2017 NBA Draft, the curiosity as to what the Bulls will do with the 16th overall pick continues to grow.

In this edition of Chicago Bulls Blurbs from this week, we’ll take a look at some draft coverage from Bulls friends across the internet, including a good breakdown of North Carolina wing Justin Jackson (who is the current Draft Express mock pick for the Bulls at 16.)

Older and less athletic? Justin Jackson would be a very Bulls pick – (@StephNoh)

In the weeks that we’ve put together pieces about the Bulls from other sites on the web, I’m very certain The Athletic Chicago‘s Stephen Noh has been in every one of them. He’s a hard worker and reading his pieces should basically be required as a Bulls fan. This week, he hit on Justin Jackson, who very well could be the pick for the Bulls right outside of the lottery on draft night. There’s a couple things of note: he’s older than other prospects and not as athletic. Sounds like a Bulls pick, right?

(Stephen also conducted an interview this week with Andrew Johnson of FanSided‘s Nylon Calculus that’s worth your time, too.)

Terrance Ferguson is Everything the Bulls Need in a Jimmy Butler Complement – (@EasyEis)

SB Nation’s Blog a Bull contributor George Eisner wrote a really good breakdown of Australia’s Terrance Ferguson, another viable option for the Bulls with the 16th pick. Ferguson, a former five-star recruit of Arizona before heading overseas to play one year of pro ball prior to this year’s draft, is an intriguing prospect with his size, leaping ability and streaky shooting from deep. Eisner discussed why he’d be a nice fit next to Bulls star Jimmy Butler.

The rise of Zach Collins – (@very_reasonable)

Over at Bulls Confidential, that man Very Reasonable Guy (who shall remain anonymous at his own request) is at it again for the guys. This time around, VRG wrote on Gonzaga big Zach Collins, who rose up draft boards throughout Gonzaga’s run to the national title game this past spring. He’s young, he’s big and he’s got some serious potential. The question is, will he be available at 16 for the Bulls and if so, would the Bulls take him?

NBA Free Agency 2017 | Bulls preview – (@KellyScaletta)

Kelly Scaletta, the resident punmaker and NBA editor at FanRag Sports, is a must-follow for all things Bulls throughout the season. (He even throws in some political discussions, too.) In this piece, Scaletta gave a nice breakdown of what to expect from the Bulls this summer in free agency. With things sounding like the “Three Alphas” will be back together next year, will much change about the Bulls in 2017-18?

The Warriors are one win away from basketball history

Golden State heads into Game 4 on Friday night looking to finish a title run off at 16-0

Whether you like them or you loathe them, the Golden State Warriors are one win away from completing one of the greatest seasons in the history of basketball. Kevin Durant’s back-breaking 3-pointer in LeBron James’ eyes on Wednesday night, along with a key stop from Andre Iguodala on James in the corner, put the Warriors up 3-0 in their best-of-season against LeBron and the Cleveland Cavaliers with Game 4 on Friday night.

Our friends at Blue Man Hoop, FanSided’s Golden State Warriors blog, hit on why NBA players of the past on title teams should stop thinking they could beat the 2016-17 Warriors, because, well … they probably couldn’t.
