The world is well aware that KD is the most disloyal player in the league and the only superstar to ever leave to chase a ring. He’s also the only player that wouldn’t want to play with Russell Westbrook. Those are both facts.
Stephen Curry is set to join Durant in free agency and let’s face it, they don’t want to play with Klay Thompson anymore. After scoring just six points in Game 1, anonymous staff members close to Donald J. Trump said to Pippen Ain’t Easy, “Steph and KD think Klay is a nerd.”
Wow. Bombshell, non-fake news reporting there by our team.
Additionally, Shaun Livingston, JaVale McGee and Andre Iguodala are all set to hit the free agent markets. It’s inevitable that they’d be willing to rejoin Durant and Curry. Iguodala and Livingston, both Illinois natives, and McGee attending Hales Franciscan High School, it’s a homecoming.
Former Bulls’ great Steve Kerr is out with a back injury, which may result in the end of his career. This leads to his recommendation of Chicago as a new hub for championship-craving veterans.
Unfortunately, this would mean abandoning Draymond Green, but he can get on board when he hits free agency in 2021.
How it works: Durant, Curry, Livingston, Iguodala, and McGee all take veteran’s minimum contracts of $980,431. They want to stay together, so why wouldn’t they take less money?
