MW: Well, here’s the big question to close things out: who wins the 2017 NBA Finals, how many games and why?

DC: The Warriors win because I want them to. Uh, five games? Honestly, why not. No matter which team wins, I don’t believe this series goes seven games. The Warriors are every bit as good as we feared they would be last season, plus they remember the totally sophomoric antics of James and friends in the aftermath of last season’s collapse. They always play it cool and loose, but I think they want to crush the Cavaliers and they have the weapons to do it.

WL: Warriors in a very easy 5. Not only was last year a fluke, but Kevin Durant is on a Kobe-level revenge tour.

PS: So, there are two narratives running through my timeline. The first, the Warriors took them to seven last year with a lot of things just not going there way and now they have added Kevin Durant. That one makes me think Warriors in five. The other storyline is that it’s LeBron freaking James and he will will his team to victory because he is a top-3 player ever. In combining the two narratives, I come out to Warriors in seven. LeBron will do everything in his power to keep it close, but the Warriors will just have too much firepower.

BF: The NBA usually comes down to who has the most star power, and while the Warriors have more stars, the Cavs have the biggest star. LeBron averages a one assist shy of a triple-double and brings another ‘ship back to Cleveland. Cavs in 6.

DB: The Golden State Warriors win in six games. I want to say five, but I think LeBron will be able to push the game to six games. Golden State simply has too much firepower, and what Draymond Green is doing on defense is just unfair.

MW: Bryce going with the underdog Cavs! It’s hard to doubt LeBron, so I respect that. Unfortunately for him, I’m going to do it just like I did last year. Willie mentioned it earlier. The Dubs had the Cavs dead-to-rights before Draymond’s suspension. Then, they added one of the world’s best players in the offseason. I just don’t see how *this* version of the Warriors loses four times in potentially seven games. Warriors bring home their second title in three years in five games (but could be swayed to six games because LeBron James).
