Michael Whitlow: OK, fellas. Let’s get started. What are your expectations for Cavaliers-Warriors III?

Daniel Coughlin (@xvanwilderx): It’s going to be lit. I mean, a lot of people complained about how good the Warriors were last season with the 73 wins in the regular season. The problem is that even with the best regular season in NBA history and an insurmountable lead in last year’s Finals, we ended up watching an all-time great chasedown block from LeBron James and a huge Kyrie Irving 3-pointer. Sure, the Eastern Conference sucks because LeBron is too good, but this is the showdown. The Warriors should be up 2-0, but instead we’re getting the true best of three between these teams. This is absolutely the best-case scenario between these two teams.

Willie Lutz (@willie_lutz): All things considered, logic points directly to a very easy Golden State victory. I don’t understand how it’s even much of a discussion, if I’m being real with myself. Before Draymond got suspended, the Cavaliers looked pretty dead-to-rights. Plus, Steph struggled with an injury. Plus Durant. Warriors in an easy 5.

Patrick Sheetz (@bull_sheetz): My expectation is to see Steph Curry be Steph Curry. Once the narrative appeared after last year’s finals that he wasn’t 100 percent, people from both sides of the coin had their opinions on the matter. Well, over the course of this series, we get to see if he was truly out of it last year and is ready to rain fireballs this year. The Steph Curry pull-up from whackyland is still my favorite action in sports.

Bryce Fields (@b_Freaky13): Honestly, I think it will be really back and forth. Both the Warriors and Cavs are incredible and I expect nothing less than than one of the best series of all-time.

Dru Berry (@druberry_): The Finals are going to have beautiful stretches of offensive basketball at its peak form. I also think it’s going to feature periods of the Cleveland Cavaliers completely forgetting how to play defense, which will hopefully allow for some JaVale McGee fun.
