When you see Jonathan Jeanne in action, there’s probably a famous draft analysis thought that crosses your mind.

“He’s two years away from being two years away.” (Thanks for that fantastic analysis a while back, Fran Fraschilla.)

Jeanne is a physical freak, standing at almost 7’1″ without shoes with an almost-7’7″ wingspan at just 19 years of age. He hasn’t played much in France’s Pro A league, averaging about 13 minutes a night, but he’s not a “right now”-type of prospect. He’s not as developed as Nikola Mirotic was overseas, but he could be a draft-and-stash option for the Bulls if they would want to go that route.

(Since the Bulls are fairly mediocre right now, it would probably be best to take someone at No. 16 that could help from day one, but if Jimmy Butler is moved and the rebuild is on, why not give Jeanne a look?)

What to like:

Like I stated earlier, Jeanne is massive. When you watch his highlights and see him run the floor, you probably think he’s the Greek Freak, only French, right?

I’m obviously not saying he’s going to be Giannis Antetokounmpo, but with time, he could develop into another one of the game’s “unicorns” with his fluid movement running up and down the floor and length in the lane to score at the rim and alter shots at it.

Rudy Gobert just might have a skinnier, yet similar successor after all. (Maybe.)
