Age: 19 years old

Measurements: 184 pounds, 6’5.5″ (w/o shoes), 6’8.75″ wingspan, 8’7″ standing reach

30 games for Adelaide (NBL), 15.1 MPG, 4.6 PPG on 38.2 percent shooting, 31.4 3-point percentage

Sure, Terrance Ferguson’s stats don’t look as nice as some of the other prospects in this class, but that’s because those other guys weren’t playing professional overseas basketball in Australia.

After committing to Arizona as a top-15 recruit in last year’s class, Ferguson changed his mind and went down under for his one year of basketball before entering the 2017 NBA Draft. He left the states as an 18-year-old kid with loads of athleticism and a fantastic spot-up jumper.

What to like:

Ferguson’s numbers with the Adelaide 36ers in the NBL aren’t going to wow you, but the actual game tape of him from his high school days, the Nike Hoop Summit where he drained a game-high seven 3-pointers and a few flashes with the 36ers should show you all you need to know with him. He’s a bouncy athlete with a good-looking shot that can get better with more and more repetitions.

When asked by SB Nation‘s Ricky O’Donnell if he thought he could win the NBA’s 3-point contest or the slam dunk contest, Ferguson said both. What’s not to like about that?
