Who wins Game 1?

To be honest, the sports have been strange lately.

That was getting me to think, “You know, the Bulls could probably mess around and steal the opener in this series.”

The Bulls split the season series with the Celtics and outside of that 20-point massacre in the final meeting between the two, the previous three games were all competitive and all came down to the final minutes of play. Game 1 probably won’t be any different.

Still, I don’t see the Bulls winning one of these games until the series swings back to Chicago for Games 3 and 4. (Yes, I have Boston winning this game, Game 2 and the series in six games.)

Not many teams have been able how to slow down Jimmy Butler this season and Boston’s been one of the few to limit his production with their defensive approach. I personally don’t think that changes. At least not on Sunday night.

Isaiah Thomas, who is slated to play as of now after a tragic car accident that ended his sister’s life on Saturday, will likely be looking for a performance for the ages after the tragedy for him and his family. (You can read more about the death of Chyna Thomas here.)

Plus, the crowd at TD Garden will be rocking all night long and it just feels like a good idea to be picking the favorite for an early series advantage in Boston.
