Rajon Rondo, Instagram

Rajon Rondo publicly flamed the two biggest names on the Bulls via a lengthy Instagram caption and they didn’t spiral into complete disaster. I’m marking this down as a win for Chicago.

We knew Rondo was going to be a divisive presence to the locker room but this was more than anyone could imagine. Sports are meant to entertain and watching this unfold was strangely exciting and undoubtedly intriguing.

The incident led to a couple of embarrassing losses and a team meeting but the team eventually landed on its feet with everyone seeming to be on the same page. Which is a feat in it self.

If the team I follow is mediocre there may as well be a reality show vibe with in the locker room. It’s a fun way to laugh off the pain.

And seeing Rondo stick up for the young players was a true surprise, even if it was a front to up his appeal as a teammate given he may be a free agent this summer.

Rondo came to the young guy’s aid, which must have come as a relief to them. Being told you are slacking by vets can lead to two very different approaches from those being slandered.
