With the Los Angeles Lakers undergoing a significant restructuring of their front office, former star Magic Johnson has been named the new president of basketball operations. We thought it might be fun to take a look at what he’s said about the Chicago Bulls during his prolific Twitter career.

Early Tuesday afternoon, with slightly over two days remaining until the trade deadline, the Los Angeles Lakers thought it would be a good time to completely overhaul their front office.

Effective immediately, Mitch Kupchak and Jim Buss will no longer be in charge, and former Lakers superstar Magic Johnson is officially at the helm.

Apart from his storied career as a player, Magic is also famous for being a prolific tweeter. A Magic Johnson tweet is recognizable for being unrealistically positive and mentioning as many different players as possible.

So without further ado, let’s dive into the cavernous depths of Magic’s Twitter archives and see what we can come up with about the Bulls.

We did it, guys!

The third-best collection of guards in the NBA is truly an excellent achievement, and of course, we couldn’t have done it without the tireless work of Gar Forman and John Paxson.

Is there any way the Bulls can get this put on a banner to hang next to the Summer League Championship Banner?

This tweet is admittedly from over four years ago, but that doesn’t mean that Chicago shouldn’t be calling Magic and asking if he’s interested in RoLo.

Hey Magic, you know who could use a good all-around player that can do a little bit of everything? The Los Angeles Lakers.

Larry Nance Jr. for Valentine straight up, who says no?

And here we have arrived at the crown jewel of Magic Johnson Bulls tweets.

Sure, it’s two years old.

Sure, being optimistic about Michael Carter-Williams‘s NBA career was much more justifiable back then.

But, come on. Jason Kidd?

If Michael Carter-Williams somehow develops into a Hall of Fame point guard, I will never make fun of Magic’s tweets ever again, but I’m not too worried.

Next: Hear us out, Mark Cuban

That said, if Magic Johnson is reading this, MCW is the future and the Lakers should trade D’Angelo Russell for him immediately.
