The Chicago Bulls hosted the Boston Celtics on Thursday night in the final game before All-Star Weekend. It was an incredible game right down to the final second, or final nine-tenths of a second if you prefer.

Chicago continues to be a ridiculous TNT team, they’ve now won 17 consecutive games that have been broadcast on the cable network. That this win followed up their 11th consecutive win over the Toronto Raptors and puts the Bulls on a win streak heading in to the All-Star break is more than incredible, it’s downright hilarious and improbable.
Chicago, with or without Butler and Wade, refuses to be anything other than average.
The Bulls win streak on TNT is improbably, just like it is improbable that one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference can’t get past a lame duck like Chicago. It’s just as improbable as Bobby Portis coming off the bench, shooting 8-for-13 and getting a block.
We might as well add to the list of nicknames. We’ve got the Three Alphas this season. There is also the #TNTBulls, which appears to be a very real thing and is not to be confused with #NationalTVRondo. Now, I might just start referring to them as the ImprobaBulls, because they continuously do improbably things – both good and bad.
Well, they got the win and it is now officially the All-Star break so let’s dig right in on this one.
