2. The Bulls aren’t a good defensive team and it showed again

Don’t worry, Doug McDermott.

You’re the not the only that struggled defensively against the Hornets.

Dwyane Wade, come on down!

Former Bulls wing Marco Belinelli missed this triple, but the Bulls had lapses on defense like this all night long; especially early in the game when they couldn’t stop anyone from scoring.

Rajon Rondo was included in this, too.

There was plenty of ball-watching on the defensive end, plenty of struggles of getting back in transition and plenty of open looks for a Hornets team that will have their own issues scoring the basketball throughout this season.

The Bulls have one more preseason game (in Omaha, NE) this week against the Atlanta Hawks; a team they’ve struggled with in the past in terms of getting stops on the defensive end.

Thursday will provide a challenge for the Bulls and if these are the kinds of things that happen defensively, it could be an ugly end to the preseason.
