Unless Taj Gibson Keeps Playing Amazing

It seems the only player who has consistently been great in all three preseason games is the same player who may supposedly not be starting for the Bulls this year.

You can scratch that storyline.

Gibson played very well in the first two preseason games, but he had his strongest performance tonight, scoring 20 points and grabbing five rebounds while shooting a perfect 9-for-9 from the field.

Gibson showcased a variety of beautiful post moves throughout the game, with one, two, or even three fakes leading to a swished hook shot or fader. He also had a beautiful dunk that Al Jefferson wanted no part of.

Of course, Gibson also played fantastic defense, altering several shots and racking up two steals. His high motor and intensity make him a great player whenever he’s on the court, and when he’s also clicking on offense, he is a straight up beast.

The Bulls don’t have another preseason game for six days when they take on the NBA champion and division-rival Cleveland Cavaliers. We’ll keep you updated in the meantime!
