Nikola “Threekola” Mirotic is Back

After two awful games where Nikola Mirotic shot an abysmal 1-for-7 from the field, he came back in a resounding way with an 18-point game.

“Threekola” shot 6-for-9 from the field, 4-for-7 from three, and also grabbed nine rebounds.

Mirotic has always been a bit of a wildcard for the Bulls, and it’s important that he plays consistent for Chicago. He is a big part of Chicago’s offense because he is one of the few players on the team that commands attention all the way out to the 3-point line. But when he falters, it really hurts the Bulls since he can’t play solid defense.

Hopefully, tonight’s strong game will be the beginning of a year-long hot streak for Niko. With the starting power forward spot supposedly up for grabs, he might have a shot at it if he continues to play at a high level.
