Marcus Fizer

Marcus Fizer never managed to gain good footing in the NBA for a number of reasons after being selected with number four overall by the Chicago Bulls in 2000.

Fizer averaged 9.6 points per game in his stint with the franchise. That number isn’t horrible, but it’s not great either. Fizer proved to be mediocre rebounder for a player of his skill position.

Fizer appeared to be undersized at 6’8” and that played a part in preventing him from becoming the rotational player he otherwise could’ve become for the Chicago Bulls. Two arrests cut his future short with the franchise.

For a number of reasons in addition to tearing his ACL, Fizer never regained footing in the NBA.
