The Chicago Bulls missed the bullseye when they selected LaMarcus Aldridge second overall in the 2006 draft, only to trade him to the Portland Trail Blazers for Tyrus Thomas, who was the fourth pick.

Aldridge became an All-Star and is considered one of the better forwards playing in the league today. Thomas, on the other hand, no longer plays in the NBA after being recruited out of Louisiana State University.

Fans often refer to Thomas as the role player the Bulls overlooked when they could’ve landed an All-Star. Thomas was last reported having played overseas for Eisbären Bremerhaven of the Basketball Bundesliga.
