Eddy Curry

At the number four slot in the 2001 NBA Draft, the Chicago Bulls selected Eddy Curry.

The big man out of Thornwood High School in Illinois came with a lot of upside, but ultimately, his weight issues ran his career into the ground.

Although listed at 285 pounds, Curry weighed in at more than 300 during his time with the New York Knicks.

Curry only showed flashes of what he could bring to the table in his stint in Chicago, only to be traded so that the franchise could rebuild the front court through the draft by picking the likes of Tyrus Thomas and Joakim Noah.
