Brad Sellers

With the ninth overall pick in the 1986 NBA Draft, the Chicago Bulls selected Brad Sellers.

Michael Jordan suggested Duke point guard Johnny Dawkins to the Bulls’ front office around that time.

What makes matters worse is knowing the 7-foot center out of Ohio State University did not make an impression in his three-year stint with the franchise, failing to average double digits in points in each season.

Sellers never sold what he could bring to the hardwood to the many fans in Chicago, let alone Jordan.

Ultimately, Sellers was traded to Seattle in 1989 for a draft pick that would allow the Bulls to acquire future All-Star B.J. Armstrong.
