Amanda Waller: Gar Forman

The correlation here is extremely, painfully obvious. Someone has to be calling the shots, though Amanda Waller is clearly on top of her game and ready to lock-and-load, while Gar Forman is more akin to the Gangstarr lyric, “When it come to beef, he don’t wanna do nothing but cook.”

Waller is a powerful antagonist to superheroes. I’m sure you’re aware that Tom Thibodeau had an oft-injured, mediocre offensive Chicago Bulls team considered a contender playing pioneering defensive techniques. Remember how the entire front office, including Forman, was constantly at odds with Thibodeau during the last couple of years he was in town? Everything is connected.

Ready for a dead ringer, from Wikipedia:

"Her relationship with the Squad itself was one of mutual dislike."

Are you not entertained? This is exactly who Gar Forman is for any talented individual the Bulls have had for the better part of a decade. They fired Ron Adams and Tom Thibodeau. They allowed terrible amounts of confusion and distrust to brew among the players until the locker room became divided. Joakim Noah was so displeased with them that he ran blindly into the arms of the New York Knicks.

The Knicks.

When it come to beef, he don’t wanna do nothing but cook.

Not the Warriors or the Spurs, he joined the Knicks.

The Knicks also happen to now employ Derrick Rose, the son of Chicago who was so intertwined into the Bulls identity that it seemed completely impossible to imagine a Bulls roster without him as little as a year ago.

Forman is Waller, except he hasn’t served any prison time yet. Let’s hope that nothing happens that ever requires that, but how about we just see if he can’t get himself removed from the Bulls organization, along with John Paxson and owner Jerry Reinsdorf.
