Suicide Squad, one of the most hyped films of calendar year, is set to hit the big screen on Aug. 5. For this, we’ll examine what the SS would look like if they were formed by the current Chicago Bulls.

I don’t know how many Bulls fans read comics, watch cartoons or the films from Marvel or DC Comics, but I’m personally excited for the release of Suicide Squad.

You can take those weird reviews from Rotten Tomatoes, shine them up real nice and stick them straight up yo—OK, hold on. Let’s not get fired here.

All Dwayne Johnson quotes aside, Suicide Squad looks like an awesome film and as one of the many hero-villain nerds in the world, I’m curious to see how the film plays out with a good cast.

There was also something else that peaked my curiosity the other day. As I was brainstorming ideas, a light bulb lit above my head and I smiled. I said out loud to myself, “The Chicago Bulls, but as the Suicide Squad.”

So, that’s what my co-editor and I did.

I enlisted the help of Daniel Coughlin, my partner-in-crime and a rather new member to the Pippen Ain’t Easy team. He took five members and I took the first five members of the Suicide Squad*.

(* = We did leave off members from the entire team and focused more on members of the film.)

For the next 10 slides, we’ll put together the Chicago version of Task Force X.

(PSA: TFX is the official name of the team.)
