B+. Valentine had an inexcusably ineffective first half, missing everything and failing to engage the offense. He also got blown by a few times. <p>But, he turned it on the second, especially late with some terrific, clutch long-range bombing (he went 3-of-8 from deep on the night).</p> <p>His final line: 13 points, eight rebounds, three assists, two steals, and a plus-minus of +14. He scrambled on defense for loose balls in the paint, he didn’t back down when the game was on the line late, and he didn’t look horrifically slow. All good things!</p> <p>Valentine’s folks in the crowd were quite stoked on his late-game heroics; enthusiastic player families (many, many high-fives with surrounding patrons were exchanged) are something the Bulls are sorely lacking now that <a href=.
