Gerald Green could follow Dwyane Wade to Chicago and join the Bulls on a cheap deal.

3. Gerald Green

After shooting 40 percent and 35.4 percent from deep during his two Phoenix seasons, Gerald Green had a down year on Dwyane Wade’s Heat from distance, connecting on just 32.3 percent of his treys and a paltry 39 percent from the field. The 6’8” small forward logged 8.9 points and 2.4 boards per game last season.

Still, he’s a pogo stick out there, with a dunk-tastic vertical and (generally) a sweet shooting stroke. He’s also a career 36.5 percent shooter from three and as a seasoned vet, there’s enough of a sample size to suggest that he just had a down year.

At age 30, it’s quite possible that Green’s best days are behind him, but he’s young enough to the point where he should have a bounce back season if allotted the proper minutes. Wade might prefer old buddy Mike Miller’s horrible back in the deep-bench wing slot that Green would occupy.
