Derrick Rose

Although Derrick Rose may really be looking at the best offers come free agency time next year, losing him this early might be something only the front office knows if it can be workable for the team or not; regardless of what other insiders say.

If the Bulls can trade for a solid veteran point guard, it may be easier to let go of the former league MVP who can still run fast-paced attacking basketball. He may never be the same as the MVP-era whirlwind athlete, but his game right now still bests a bulk of other point guards in the NBA today.

Assuredly, Rose won’t be another Scottie Pippen and let go too early, instead of being allowed to lead the team back into contention and a chance to end his career playing for the Bulls. The front office owe the fans and Rosethe chance to prove he can still play elite basketball next year.
