19. MJ Scores 37 PPG in One Season
Jordan went full Westbrook in the 1986-87 season. He averaged 37.1 points per game and took on all challengers. The team was only 40-42, but they didn’t have Pippen quite yet. Jordan was kind of carrying the boat by himself at that point, but the Bulls finally drafted some other talent around him to contribute. Curry is pushing to challenge that PPG average this season; however, it is unlikely that he’ll hit this number considering he sits most fourth quarters. Jordan didn’t have that luxury for the Bulls, and that is part of the reason he was able to score so many points.
