When the NBA announced the schedules for all 30 teams, we did a breakdown on some of the notables from the new 82-game slate. With this preview, we’ll take a look at each month for the Bulls.
October:
- Opening Night – Oct. 27 at home vs. Cleveland
- Back-to-back No. 1 – Cleveland on Oct. 27, @ Brooklyn on Oct. 28
November:
- Two games vs. division rivals Indiana – Nov. 16 at home, Nov. 27 @ Indiana
- Five games against the West – Nov. 5 vs. Oklahoma City, Nov. 18 @ Phoenix, Nov. 20 @ Golden State, Nov. 24 @ Portland and Nov. 30 vs. San Antonio
December:
- 15 games in the month of December, 11 of them are at United Center (including five straight from Dec. 10-18)
- Christmas Day game @ Oklahoma City
All U Can Heat
January:
- New Year’s Day game vs. New York
- Meetings with both NBA Finals teams from last season (Golden State at home on Jan. 20 and @ Cleveland on Jan. 23)
February:
- Five-game road trip from Feb. 1-8 (Utah, Sacramento, Denver, Minnesota and Charlotte)
- All-Star Break: Feb. 12-14
- In a span from Feb. 10-19 (with the ASB in between), the Bulls will play East contenders in three straight games (Atlanta, @ Cleveland and Toronto)
March:
- The Bulls play six different playoff teams in the month of March (Houston, Milwaukee, @ San Antoino, @ Toronto, @ Washington and Atlanta)
- A “four-game-in-five-night span” from Mar. 26-31 (@ Orlando, Atlanta, @ Indiana and @ Houston)
April:
- Four of the final six games of the season are on the road from Apr. 3-11 (Milwaukee, Memphis, Miami and New Orleans)
- Season finale: Apr. 13 vs. Philadelphia
- 2016 NBA Playoffs start on Apr. 16
