1. The defense must improve for the Bulls to have success
When asked about the Bulls and their defensive performance on Wednesday, here’s what Taj Gibson had to say:
Taj Gibson: "Our defense is lackadaisical right now."

Gibson returned to action for the first time since offseason ankle surgery and scored a couple of buckets in a short nine-minute night at the office. His thoughts on the defense aren’t off by any stretch of the imagination. The Bulls have given up 109.8 points per contest in their 2-3 start to the preseason. It’s the preseason, but Fred Hoiberg isn’t happy about that.
Hoiberg calls the Bulls fourth quarter a "debacle." Not happy with his team's energy tonight.
